The new #MikiBerenyiTrio song is speaking to me as an aging creative person. Or are we just old people struggling ro stay creative?
I still have the flow of ideas and images, but it’s hard to make the time, energy , and drive to CREATE, to get them out of my head and into the world. That’s part of why I share my #sketchbook #WIP #WorkInProgress ; it helps me stay committed, and maybe it encourages someone else.
It’s something I’ve been thinking about as I desperately cling to my identity as “artist” in a world that says I don’t deserve that title unless it’s lucrative.
Also, I can see #MikiBerenyi ‘s teeth hurt.
