Three siblings, Helen, their mom who passed away not so long ago, their spouses & children, the house Helen left behind on their minds, all gathered for Christmas. The spouses thinking of their own parents who somehow never measured up to Helen & the recovering addict & her little daughter, in the care of Alice, social worker & wife of Henry, second oldest of the siblings. A good & well recommended read.
