A nice little #leatherwork project this morning was a case for my #XTEINK X4 ereader. I didn't take many photos of the build process, but I started with cutting the bottom panel of leather to size in cutting some slots for a strap on the back. Then glued in some stiff white plastic so that the MagSafe ring had something to stick to.
The plastic/leather were then punched for stitching holes and saddle stitched all the way around.

I honestly saw a youtube video from Nerdforge and thought 'I need to do this', so I got a toolset for like 50 Euro, watched some more videos, googled some stuff and then made my first bracelet :) Since then it only got worse and I now have a small cabinet full of stuff.

I am currently binding a fanfiction for a friend that has more then 1,5 million words, so it will be multiple books. And my friend decided on mourning paper (it has fully black edges) and it was soooo funny to order 11kg of mourning paper from my favorite paper store.

An odd creation

An axe in a smaller size and style of an firemans axe. Made new side pieces in birch for the handle and a leather sheath.

I dont know my plan behind the sheath but it got quite crazy. Im most satisfied with the fit, and that the "heel" for the axe edge and the rivet in the back helps to secure it in the sheath. It didnt need anything more then that ⚒️
