#Launtel's not-quite-static #IPv6 is annoying.
Oh dear. ISP seems to have lost my IPv4 address. #Launtel

Hey #WebDev #UX #UI people and to some extent #SoftwareDevelopers in #Australia.

You should try #Launtel's 1/1 and 4/4 megabit plans.

If you're on FTTP you can even turn it on on a second port. You pay by the day.

I will pay for you to try this.

If anyone on here has contacts at #AARNet, they seem to be speed limiting transfers from mirror.aarnet.edu.au to #Launtel customers (?) again.
Issues with speeds to #AARNet from #Launtel
Is there weird DNS stuff going on in #Australia, is it just me or is it just #Launtel?

@sortius yeah. I have tried a few ISPs and ended up at #launtel . A smaller outfit out of Launceston Tasmania with great customer service and daily cancellation. Speeds are reliably good and you get what you pay for.

You can try them for free with this link:
https://residential.launtel.net.au/residential/referral/BL2020REF

And yes you will get something more and I will get something as well, if you use that link.

I have no affiliation with them.

After enjoying 250/100mbps for a few days with #launtel, I am now giving 25/5 connection a go to see if I find it intolerable. If I don't notice much difference, it's going to mean a big saving on my monthly internet bill.
