On this day, NASA launched Voyager 1.
It still sails, bearing our message to the stars.
Here’s a small poem I wrote for it:

Voyage on, Voyager
Voyage on, Voyager,
so far from home.
Your path I do not begrudge—
you’ve ventured far,
too far for me to follow.
For I would miss my hollow.
