Spent #PresidentsDay sewing a "Halloween skirt" with my 4yo from a scrap of moon and star fabric, sparkles, and lace from my stash. They told me exactly where everything had to go on the skirt and sat on my lap while I sewed π

On a NON-sweary note, here's the next installment of Aelred's Pastoral Prayer.
He reflects on his sense of inadequacy and wonders why on earth God has called him:
'Why, therefore, O fount of mercy,
did you want to entrust such as them to someone like me,
those so dear to you to such an outcast from your sight?'
For my own part, I've often wondered WHY God has called me to my particular pastoral role, but I've never doubted THAT he called me.
