On my way to Whitehorse, Yukon today. looking forward to my visit to Dechinta, which has been covered already in Yukon News. I'll do a fireside chat on Wednesday and a public lecture on Thursday.
From the article: "The fireside chat and gender expression workshop [a third event I'm not involved in] require preregistration, which can be done by visiting www.dechinta.ca/oflandandwater."
My keynote does not require registration.

Picture of pride shawl being worn, gives you a sense of the size and drape!
All in all very pleased with the result. I feel like it displays the symbolism really well, and the acrylic thread means it's lightweight for summer. I would have preferred cotton, but I didn't have 150 dollars to spend on supplies!
If anyone is interested, I made it using the virus crochet pattern, using standard 8 ply yarn & a 4.25 hook.
