Prince Edward Island is rich with fossils from the Permian period, roughly 290 million years ago. A lot of the known specimens in the province are discovered by children, making the third annual Fossil Day in Charlottetown that much more important for teaching young people how to identify them. A fairly drab and useless day in #Landskrona - but then; what do I expect? :)

- Found an old red #Volvo #tractor at Lundåkra Marina. Sparked some joy.
- A happy face on a bridge rail. A forgotten baby's rattle I guess. Also sparked a moderate amount of joy
- Some plants I can't identify. Anyone? Look like some sort of cabbage. Don't think they are, but they have a cabbage-ish aura. #identify

got gifted some fruit. shop said they are fresh medjool dates. highly doubt that.
does anyone know what they are and is someone willing to share their knowledge?

texture and taste remind me vaguely of lychees. pits seem familiar but cannot place them.
