Another very interesting game was one of the nations hosting the tournament, the #Philippines and their #Gilas squad, bouncing the Chinese team in a striking fashion!!

In front of an abuzz home crowd, they beat them handily im the second half, with an amazing performance not only by #NBA star #JordanClarkson. He might not be one of my favourite players, but you cannot deny that this dude sometimes just catches on fire 🏀🔥

Also, it felt like this game was personal for a lot of their players. Perhaps because of the ongoing political dispute around the waters and islands located between these nations.

On another note...when watching the game, I was definitely asking myself "Why the hell is #SlowMo (#KyleAnderson) of the #Timberwolves playing for the Chinese basketball team?!"
I've read now that he was naturalized to play for them 🙃
