#KnoxMakers celebrated it's 14th birthday last month. We celebrated with a big party with lots of pizza and cakes. Everyone was encouraged to make a hat and prizes were given out in a few categories. Luka won MOST BEST HAT OF TODAY, Alex won WIDEST and also the HEAVIEST hat awards, and Russell D won TALLEST hat.

Made a laserbot with some friends to promote the local hackerspace (Knox Makers). Aluminum extrusion and laser cut/engraved wood for the enclosure around a fiber laser. Arduino to interface with the buttons and talk to the laptop (in back). Python code to use Meerk40t's batch file processing ability to burn the proper images, with the right size, position, and laser settings.
