🚨 Rather niche post for Kinesis Advantage users only

By default left arrow points up, and right one down. I remapped them to follow the same directions as Vim keybindings for J and K which are directly above the arrows. This single remap was a game changer for me.

Yay, nothing says happy #Caturday like one of the cats throwing up all over the #KinesisErgo keyboard that I really need to be able to work.

Guess I'll have to check with Kinesis if the damage to that half of the Advantage360 is repairable or if I get to buy a brand new one. Liquid got into the switches as best as I can tell so it's going to require at least some repair and not just a cleaning.

There’s a downside of using ergonomic keyboards with bowl shaped key wells.

And yes, the keyboard was plugged in.
