The #FDA has just granted an #EUA for #Kineret (anakinra) for #COVID19.

💊 Kineret is an interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, currently approved for rheumatoid arthritis.

💊 The Kineret EUA is for hospitalized adults with positive results of direct SARS-CoV-2 viral testing with pneumonia requiring supplemental oxygen (low- or high-flow oxygen) who are at risk for progressing to severe respiratory failure and are likely to have an elevated suPAR.
