Tonight's rotating desktop pictures is one of my favorite roads to #InlineSkate. It's #NYS #ColumbiaCounty Route 21, running north from #Kinderhook. So smooth and fast a few years ago -- maybe not so great now after a few years of weather damage.

Okay, packing the skates and the skater garb. Pray for me come next Tues or Wed when the temp near #Kinderhook will max out at 28degF. This used to be trivial skating weather, but temperature-wise I wussed out about a year ago, and since then have lost quad muscle. If I manage a 50k without injury, it will be a miracle. #InlineSkating
