Escape from Tarkov: Arena bug turned into an official event, devs launched CheckPoint: Knives Out, so the accidental KNIFEFIGHT is now LEGIT 🔪

Patch 0.5.1.1 briefly made only knives deal damage; the bug was fixed, but players loved the chaos. From June 5-8 on Port 5 and Fort it's melee-only, no guns allowed. Rewards: double XP, Battle Pass progress ×1.5, a 3-quest chain and a unique achievement for completing it.

In 2018, I won scuba lessons. I asked my instructor if the underwater knife fighting I saw in James Bond movies was a special certification. He laughed and told me that nothing from those movies was legit.
