I heard this on #KMHD yesterday and I just can't get over how creepy it is. I'm not sure if it's as creepy as "Every Breath You Take," but this is basically the FAANG (I guess they're MANGA now?) theme song.

Apologies for complaining about this again. But I keep on hoping I'm going to get used to the "banter" on the new-ish morning show/podcast-style format on my local Jazz station's (KMHD) 8-10am slot. But I just... can't. I like both of the DJ's separately, but I can't imagine much more tedious and inane than listening to two people blow smoke up each other's respective asses with forced/fake positivity. Just play some jazz, yo. If I wanted a podcast, I'd listen to a podcast.
I'm thinking of recording. I told myself, "When I can't stand the Christmas music anymore, I'll see how sore my fingers are today." What does KMHD do? Gently slides Dave Brubeck playing "O Little Town of Bethlehem" into the queue.
FM stations on holidays know exactly what their listeners will tolerate.
My 2nd favorite station, behind only KBOO, KMHD, is holding a movie night with a classic featuring some awesome musicians!
It's... a classic. Damn. That was almost 40 years ago. I'm officially old, lol.

KMHD, Jazz Without Boundaries, was playing Ramsey Lewis. Now it's The Ohio Players.
Jazz is in the ear of the beholder.
I like that #KMHD thinks Stevie Wonder is jazz.
🎶 I was made to love her..🎶
I like how #KMHD includes funk as a genre of jazz.
#KMHD is off the air again.
I was listening the night a DJ at KMPX in San Francisco put on Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd and fell asleep. With the mic on. When the album music ended, listeners were treated to repetitious record noise from the part of the groove in the center of the record, where there was no music, and him beginning to snore. This went on until someone from the station showed up. His last night on-air there.
I kind of liked his show. Very relaxing.
