- Some (common) customisations I've done other than my usual theme customisations to the desktop include installing the
#Fish shell which is much friendlier than
#Bash, setting up
#Timeshift for scheduled snapshots, and themed Grub for something prettier.
- Also used this opportunity to test some things out including finally figuring out a better way of integrating #KDEWallet which now works also with
#SSH and
#GPG passphrases, setting
#Zram up in place of regular Swap which is supposedly the "play" these days for maximum memory efficiency, and switching to the LTS kernel for better stability (though I've never had any issue staying on the main kernel on EndeavourOS before).

Conclusion:
All in all, I'm super happy with my choice and the experience running EndeavourOS and KDE Plasma on the old MacBook Air which is giving it a fresh new breath of life. My only issue with it now is that it was meant to be the "Family Computer" but now I genuinely couldn't take my hands off it and MUCH prefer it over my M1 MacBook Air which is supposed to be better in every single way BESIDES macOS alone. Please god let me run EndeavourOS on my
#Apple Silicon Mac someday without losing any hardware features (and software compatibility). Always keeping an eye on the
#AsahiLinux project.
I'm linking below my Linux "Wiki" where I document stuffs/modifications I do for all my desktops.
