I really liked the writing, characters, and story, but I think I wanted more from the formatting. I adore books with footnotes and weird meta/is-it-fiction-or-not stuff, and I think I wanted it to experiment even more in that direction. Or something.
Starting a book called “Blackouts” (by #JustinTorres), and, before even reading a single word, I’m instantly won over by the fact that it’s printed in brown ink.
