I'm not a big fan of weddings. But I did go to one in a castle in Ireland once. That was my favorite.

Have I written any Weddings or thought about writing one?

I haven't written a wedding yet, but if I do I want it to fit the characters perfectly, like the characters in 27 dresses . . . stuff that's meaningful to the characters and will stick with them.

I still have the silk floral cake topper from our wedding cake.

Over-the-top Wedding I can't forget?

That's obvious. Years ago, all anyone could talk about was Charles & Diana. Even I watched some of it, and it was so not my thing . . . @neve's sunset on the beach is much closer to perfect for me.

Minimalist wedding that touched your heart?

The original TV series Charmed was great at just the three sisters coming together for anything.
When one sister married their Whitelighter (guardian angel-type figure), it was just the three sisters and their parents and Gran, some of whom were ghosts. It was at home, beautiful and meaningful.

Fav real wedding:

I’m biased. My own wedding was a big outdoor tent party for friends & relatives with a grazing bar + a small sushi bar. We paused briefly and we married. Just Mike and I and our best men.
Then there was cake. Amazing cake from the best French bakery in town.
It was perfect.

I’ll give an honorable mention to Megan Markle’s dress, which was gorgeous, elegant, and full of symbolism.
