Started rereading Diamond Mask by Julian May. The seventh book in the eight book Saga of the Pliocene Exiles & Galactic Milieu story.
Starting rereading Jack The Bodiless by Julian May. The 1st book of her Galactic Milieu trilogy, but really book 5 of 8 in The Saga of The Pliocene Exiles - Intervention - Galactic Milieu series. Bloody marvellous series it is too!
Finished rereading Intervention by Julian May.
The last line still gets me every time. π₯²
Spoilerific to explain why.
Recommended. But you need to read the 4 books in The Saga of The Pliocene Exiles before Intervention, and then the 3 books in The Galactic Milieu after it.
I donβt understand why the whole story arc hasnβt be given the TV series treatment. It has everything from epic fantasy to ultra high tech. An adaptation was rumoured.
I can happily report that Intervention by Julian May continues to live up to my expectations and memories about how good it is. Itβs a remarkable book bang in the middle of my favourite story arc. Weβre talking millions of years of time and intergalactic goingβs on.
Julian May should be more well known. Sheβs was a fabulous writer. With many male pseudonyms. A reflection of the time she was active.
