A unique earthquake detection system: a blend of collaborative work from eyewitnesses and of data collection from seismic institutes. You felt an earthquake and want to add or see testimonies on a specific seismic event? Do you want to know if there are any earthquakes near you, or see the worldwide earthquakes in the last 24 hours?
in our area, if you are small and weak, and don't have a control of land your historical monuments reside on, those are getting destroyed or "reused".
it's not only the azerbaijan, it's also turkey, where they just erased many monuments, including one, pretty big armenian monastery. we just don't have such big monasteries here in a remaining snip of armenia.
on the other hand, there is iran, where all historical monuments are preserved, and the famous case is armenian dzordzor chapel, which was moved by the authorities because of the construction of the dam. even in armenia in soviet times ussr just flooded two churches for construction of water reservoirs. surely, communists would not spend resources (they did not have) for the church preservation.
iran did not only save the church by moving it, but is proud by it, and presents as a tourist attraction.
the town of julfa is divided by the river, which became a border between iran and azerbaijan. should i say that on iranian side there is still armenian legacy and alive armenians, and on azerbaijani side everything was, again, for a lack of a better word, erased?
