Time to take the dog for a walk. We leave the flat, go downstairs and out of the building. Then I realise I'm wearing my computer glasses. Oh well, I can see well enough. I think.

A teenage boy was standing in the entrance of the parked bus. It took a moment for the penny to drop.
The words "You look too young to be a bus driver" came out of my mouth.
"I know…" he replied.
It's not that I doubted his ability to drive the bus. It was the dissonance. I mean, he looked too young to shave. I think his voice changed on the way into the city centre.
