❌ Palestine solidarity activists face criminalisation, heavy fines and severe police violence.

People born without a German passport face discriminatory restrictions on their right of residence, up to and including the revocation of citizenship already granted.

❗️In a presentation, lawyer Inga Matthes (Lawyers Against Genocide) will examine these issues in more detail and show how repression, migration law and the criminalisation of solidarity with Palestine are playing out in Germany.

❌ Palästinasolidarische Aktivist*innen erleben Kriminalisierung, hohe Geldstrafen und massive Polizeigewalt.

Menschen, die ohne deutschen Pass geboren wurden, drohen diskriminierende Einschränkungen beim Aufenthaltsrecht bis zum Entzug bereits gegebener Staatsbürgerschaft.

❗️In einem Input beleuchtet Juristin Inga Matthes (Jurist:innen gegen Genozid) diese Zusammenhänge genauer und zeigt, wie Repression, Migrationsrecht und die Kriminalisierung palästinasolidarischen Engagements in Deutschland wirken.

👉 Lasst uns gemeinsam diskutieren: Wie können wir uns gegen diesen autoritären und rassistischen Staatsumbau wehren?

📍 Im Anschluss könnt ihr die iL Berlin bei Gesprächen näher kennenlernen.

🚨Jour Fixe of the IL Berlin on Tuesday, 24 September at 7 pm in the B-Lage🚨

For our Jour Fixe in September, the Queerfeminismus-AG invites you to the documentary ‘Zuflucht nehmen’ including a discussion with the director Selina Höfner.

Domestic violence affects women from all social classes - in Germany, one in four women experience domestic violence at least once in their lives.

The documentary film ‘Zuflucht nehmen’ shows how structural problems, such as the tight Berlin housing market, exacerbate the situation of women affected by violence.

A lack of shelter and the loss of refuge spaces due to gentrification make it particularly difficult for women to leave violent relationships. The documentary makes the issue more visible and scrutinises the social structures that make it difficult to leave violent relationships.

This is precisely where our queer feminism working group comes in with its practice on feminicides and housing. One of our responses to patriarchal violence is: ✊ Expropriate patriarchy✊
