Perhaps the first mention of #whisky (#whiskey) of any national origin is from a #Latin entry in the Exchequer Rolls of #Scotland, with #Dominican monk/merchant #JohnCor asked by King James IV to produce a quantity of what we now call #Scotch Whisky on #ThisDayInHistory in 1496.
