The timeless fairy tale feel! It is the closest I’ve ever felt to Ever After (in book form), which is one of my comfort movies. 2. I fell in love with Felicia’s work immediately; her debut, Appetites and Vices, is so great. I always want to see more Jewish stories. 3. The special Felicia twist to classic tropes made this book such a delight to read. In this book, the hero is the Cinderella character and it’s his kindness that wins over the heroine. SO WHOLESOME. And the heroine is unapologetically ambitious and was never punished for being that way. I can’t wait for you to meet both of them. Ahh!
