Look what arrived with the post today! After a very friendly chat with the people from #J_Exp_Biol at the exhibition stand during the #sebconference they were friendly enough to send me a copy of last year's issue 14, which has my study and photo as the cover image.
This was my first cover story and so far the most important paper of my #PhD. I'm so proud to hold this beautiful shiny book in my hands 🤩

Summary: Domestic canaries apply specific 3D movements of their upper and lower beaks during the various phases of seed processing; this includes extremely fast open–close frequencies during phases of seed positioning.
