There are many common bind-offs. The stretchiest I know is #JSSBO, Jenni's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off, and is great for ribbing and anything else which needs a stretchy edge.

3-needle bind-off, i-cord bind-off, cable bind-off... the variations are many, and there are good reasons to use one or another. Learn lots! Have a great time!

A good project is to find the best (in your opinion) bind-off for swatches!

#YarnChicken : I am half done with the final row, just the bind-off to follow. Is there *really* enough #yarn to do #JSSBO ? I think so...

#JSSBO is even better than just stretchy! It has a purl and knit form, to match the mechanics of the stitches in the previous row, so it is especially great at the end of ribbing!
