#JIdol: 抗イキル by “Kuroi Shoujo” launched me down a new rabbit hole: club videos, fan cam, and idol units that are virtually unknown in the West. Unfortunately, the group leader was unable to handle the pressure of being an idol and, after taking several breaks for "health reasons," graduated and disappeared. The bright side was I was introduced to their sister unit, Konton Shoujo whom I actively follow.

it has to be by Melancholic Cinderella Story (Merasisu) or Konton Shoujo (Chaos Girls) This is the type of idol group Shiomi was in. And fits the spooky world the characters keep being sucked into.

It can't give away the climax scene of the first volume. Music is very much a part of that scene and there is a particular song for it.
