The Hebrew month of אייר /ee-'yar/ started yesterday.

It's one of those months that doesn't announce itself loudly.

No big holiday at the start, no dramatic ritual

And yet there's something quietly powerful about this month that I've always felt

/ee-'yar/ אייר is known as the month of healing

That's the whole energy of this month

It lands right in the middle of the Omer, the 49-day journey between Passover and Shavuot

We've just left something behind and we haven't arrived yet. We're in between

And that in-between space? That's exactly where healing happens

This month also holds Yom HaZikaron and Yom Ha'atzmaut, back to back

One day we grieve. The next day we celebrate.
Not instead of grieving.
Right after it

I think אייר understands that

Healing doesn't ask you to skip the hard part. It asks you to move through it and keep going

If something in you needs healing this month, whether it's something old or something recent, אייר is your month🌿
