Saw #IronLungs

#Markiplier is a very good director, but the movie suffers from a slow start. It poses you with more questions than answers, but most payoffs are well executed.

It's impressive for a movie that only happens inside a claustrophobic submarine in a sea of blood.

I'll give it a 8/10. It's a good movie to see on cinema, but I feel it was 20~30 minutes too much.

#poliovaccine #RKJ #polio #ironlungs In the early 1950s I was a teenager, I did volunteer work feeding polio patients in iron lungs. It was not a happy job, and right now I wish that RKJ had had the same opportunity to know these poor souls and their families, aware they were imprisoned for life, rocking eternally in their iron beds. Would he be the same man he is today?

This bit made me laugh. Nvm #CPAP, Philips acquired responsibility for the #ironlungs still used by lifelong #polio patients to survive, yet basically left each of them to risk constant suffocation due to NOT maintaining these machines.
When DIY kludges fail, patients die. Few such patients are left alive now. 😡
