Hi, I’m Pipaluk (Pipa)! I'm new in here.

I’m a wife, mom to three incredible boys, and Sofus, our lovable wirehaired dachshund. Together, we live in Qaqortoq, in Inuit Nunaat—a place where the Arctic’s beauty inspires everything I do.

I’m a former hairdresser who left the salon in 2019 to follow a new dream. Today, I co-own Inuacare, a clean skincare brand made with love and handpicked Arctic herbs, alongside my wonderful mother-in-law. It’s more than a business; it’s a celebration of nature, family, and care—a true heart project.

In 2022, stress and anxiety began to take their toll, lingering in my body far too long. By late 2023, I decided to slow down, live more intentionally, and embrace a slower lifestyle to heal. I’ve rediscovered creativity and joy—knitting cozy pieces, crafting earrings, playing with sourdough, and finding beauty in life’s small, quiet moments.

These days, I work only a few hours on Inuacare, but every moment is filled with passion, gratitude, and love. It’s a brand that represents who I am, and I pour my heart into every detail.

Here in the Arctic, life moves at its own rhythm—guided by nature, family, and a desire to live meaningfully. I hope you’ll join me on this journey of slow living, healing, and celebrating life in its simplest, purest form.
