VoiceOver Bug with InstaCart: 😥 Ran into this bug today using the most up to date version of InstaCart App on iOS. I was trying to help someone add a EBT SNAP to their CheckOut, and I'd seen it work earlier breaking out items that were EBT approved grocery items and the remainder that would be payed via another mechanism, like ApplePay. But when selecting EBT and hitting the Confirm Button, it always rolled back to the previous Payment Method; Selecting other Payment Methods didn't have this same problem. For example, I could switch between PayPal & ApplePay seamlessly, just couldn't select EBT. On a whim, I turned on VoiceOver's Screen Recognition Mode, thinking on occasions I'd see a element not be selected with traditional VO Focus but only with Screen Recognition mode on. And, it worked, I was able to select EBT. Then InstaCart Broke out the groceries so most items were covered and a few went on the persons ApplePay. The Final hurdle was a PIN Code Request to authorize the payment, the on screen key pad was a bit wonkie and not compatible with typical on screen input, so it required a bit of flicking and Double Tapping, but it worked! At that point, I'd turned Screen Recognition off. I might have twigged to the problem earlier, when I heard or should I say didn't hear "Selected" after I Double Tap on the EBT Card, but given the interface is riddled with these kind of bugs, I didn't give it much thoughtt.
