#boxing Jesse "Bam" #Rodriguez wins the WBA Bantamweight Title from Antonio #Vargas via KO on the 6th, becoming a 3-division champion. Vargas came to fight, and looked to overwhelm Bam early, but got KD'd with a body shot. Vargas got up and fought harder, but Bam's angles won him the fight. A combination with a left hook to the chin got the KO for Bam. Good fight. 💪👊

It seems that a fight with Naoya #Inoue is getting closer. #InoueBam would be 💪. Inoue would be The favorite in that fight. 👊

#boxing Jon Riel #Casimero won against Luis #Nery via 4th-round KO. Nery was 3lb overweight in the 124lb catchweight fight, and had a rehydration clause. Casimero dropped Nery 6x in the fight, 3x in the 1st round, while Nery scored one KD. 💪

I would like to see a rematch where both fighters are 100% in the fight. Nery still has more fights to give, IMHO.

Casimero is calling out Naoya #Inoue, to try for his 4th division title. But it seems it will be #InoueBam next. 👊

In Featherweight, #Inoue could potentially face Angelo #Leo, Brandon #Figueroa, Bruce #Carrington, and even Rafael #Espinoza. If #InoueEspinoza ever happens, Inoue would face an opponent 8 inches taller with 7 inches longer reach, almost similar in magnitude to the disparity between Keith #Thurman and Sebastian #Fundora. That would be an interesting though unfair fight.

Congratulations to Naoya Inoue for showing us the reason why he is the second-best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. 💪👊

#InoueNakatani lived up to the hype, both #Inoue and #Nakatani rising to the occasion of the highly anticipated fight. It showed these two fighters belong in the pound for pound rankings. And, it showed that Naoya Inoue is a great offensive fighter who can potentially win against the Featherweight Champions who have a similar build with Nakatani. 💪

If Inoue does move up to featherweight, the fight against John Riel #Casimero would now have a very slim chance of happening.

#boxing Naoya #Inoue is still the Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champion, defending against Junto #Nakatani in a spectacle worthy of a Mega Fight, via a comforable UD. It was a high level, elite, offensive match, both fighters showing skill and heart with neither ever running. Nakatani started late, with Inoue going to the body early. The offensive display was superb from both fighters, though Inoue was consistent in attacks throughout the fight, even in rounds that Nakatani won. Great fight 💪👊

#boxing Takuma #Inoue defends his WBC Bantamweight Title agaimst 4-division champion Kazuto #Ioka via a very wide UD. Ioka fought a hard battle, but Inoue floored him twice and scored throughout the fight. Good fight. 💪👊

Will Inoue unify next? 👊

The #InoueNakatani fight would be a good test if Naoya #Inoue could move up to Featherweight, since Junto #Nakatani has the natural build for that division, and has about the same size as champions Brandon #Figueroa or Bruce #Carrington.

This fight would probably be Inoue's most challenging fight since the first #InoueDonaire. Nakatani has power and is bigger. Inoue has KO'd a bigger champion before -- Jamie #Macdonell, but against whom Nakatani would have the advantage in power and skill. 💪

#boxing The #FightScore take on the Mega Fight between Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champion Naoya #Inoue 32-0-0 27KO and Junto #Nakatani 32-0-0 24KO on May 2nd:

Inoue | Nakatani
9 | 10 Power
10 | 8 Speed
5'5'' | 5'8'' Size
10 | 9 Accuracy
10 | 8 Footwork
9 | 8 Punch Volume
10 | 8 Ring Generalship

On paper, Inoue edges Nakatani in some of the factors contributing to a victory.

55-45 Inoue

👊💪

As for potential Naoya #Inoue fights, Alan #Picasso could be next for December. But the better opponent would be 3-division champion John Riel #Casimero. Now #InoueCasimero would be interesting but unlikely, as Inoue does not seem to want to fight him -- for too much trashtalking -- though it would be a bit dangerous for Inoue to fight Casimero before #InoueNakatani. Casimero is a legit contender, more so than all the other ranked fighters, having been scheduled to unify against Inoue at 118. 💪👊
