My musings, paired with this image of a fish fin and air bubbles… 😊

From a Finnish perspective, it was at times admirable to see how diplomatic and tactful some of these foreigners were, yet at the same time very direct. Of course, I myself am also a foreigner here in Estonia, but when it came to people from other countries, it was admirable and respectful to listen to and observe how both positive and negative communication took place.

Sometimes I also wonder what kind of parent instills so much hatred and fear in a child—feelings that are buried deep and continue to smolder somewhere in a small person’s soul, so that even in adulthood that same pain is projected onto everyone around them. What kind of adult does this to a small child?

Sometimes it’s heartbreaking to notice how considerate, kind, and empathetic people are—especially those who have been treated very badly. At times it hurts to have to draw that line with them, to say that I don’t need help, that everything is fine, that I can stand on my own two feet. It is always heartwarming to know that people like this exist.

I was talking to a friend earlier about the architecture and landscapes we create in dreams, and how the buildings we construct are usually a combination of the ones we have lived in over the years. Familiar, but odd. Tbf I don't often remember my dreams, but lately I've had those half glimpses and as soon as I try to focus on them during the day they dissolve immediately. Do other people create fantastical dioramas I wonder? #InnerLandscapes #liminalspaces #dreams
