KeithiusLooking back downstream (though that old colonial damn I mentioned) shows more of the weird mix of bare/yellow/green that the trees have here at the moment.

Looking up through the trees
A log had blocked a bit of the brook and the leaves were collecting there, and I thought that looked neat - reason enough to snap a pic!
Pool of leaves
This is the remains of an old dam dating back to colonial times when they were mining & smelting iron ore. I find it interesting because all the area beyond this (where the trail continues to) would've been underwater at one point in time.
