Really hoped that this #InarticulateGreen quilt was going to make a dent in my green fabric stash, but the top is done and those bins are still overflowing
I've bookmarked a green QT Fabric 108" for the back, but, at 72" square, this top is also small enough that a Minky 90" would work - might flip a coin (or, more likely, I'll end up using whatever is on sale when I get ready to quilt)
And that’s 12 blocks. Time to start trimming and adding borders
I get one shot at each of these. Going to be measuring 3 or 4 times and cutting once — wish me luck!

Too many of the draft layouts for my #InarticulateGreen quilt were leaning into Minecraft, but I'm liking this one. Would get to use up a lot of green stash fabrics for the individual block borders and that checkered stripe
If I steal 1½ yds set aside for another project, I'd even have enough on hand for the multiple 2" borders that all need to be the same shade 🤔 may be worth it as I'm not sure when I'll get to that other quilt idea anyway

Blocks for Ms. Green and Kermie, the character that started this it’s not easy being green quilt idea in the first place
I did not have a big enough piece of green fabric for the m&m so it’s getting a small white section added to the bottom to fill the block space out (none of these blocks have been trimmed to size yet)
Didn’t think I’d be able to finish the Slimer block this morning, but I’m extra productive for some reason
There’s a possibility that when this block gets its borders, I’ll add Slimer’s tongue so it looks like it’s spilling out of the block
Finished Grogu block on the design wall this morning — that’s 2 green characters for my quilt with 10 to go
