Yes my lab mates are frustrated by the prices for adapters and cables. So I have to build something that comes with Ethernet on one side and GPIB on the other side, no NI libs or drivers and simple python programming interface.
I intend to use the AR488 lib and some w5500 based eth boards. And will report later but that might take a while.
