This one started already in 2025 with drawing a moment in the old and wonderful Cafe Anno, a night bar in Vienna. People sitting, talking, and recharging on their drinking needs under gloomy lights while time flies through the ghost hour. Two of them standing in the center of the room, getting closer to each other slowly, sip by sip. I carried the rolled cardboard with me into the new year, through Silvester, and then back to the place, painting the new year in watercolor, but with beer instead of water. Meanwhile, a party glitter box exploded in my art bag, and a friendly girl gave me some special makeup pen to draw in. It's all effect. We are there.

When there was still a sun in the sky, Castle Rat defended the Realm at the Arena, Vienna, and in the front row there was me as a rodent minion of the Rat Queen, nibbling down on every moment of that intercosmic journey. With the stakes getting higher and higher, it was time to chant and draw the pencil, holding it like a wand and doing my share to fight back against Lady Rat Death to end all suffering. Each year, on Karlsplatz, the Popfest sings out in its subconsciously humming voice, mimicking some kind of contemporary siren call to draw everyone into its arms. From a stage in a lake to a hall with a huge yellow duck welcoming you at first, and into the tech university's belly called Prechtlsaal throughout the night - it is a three day excursion into the music of the generation, with each night blurring into one perpetual movement of draw, dance, drink, repeat.
