Arguably, if there was no access control requirement there would be no need for identity management. q and a on #IAM... Just for playing around I created a reddit-like forum on a #Lemmy instance in the #fediverse.
I don't know how it works (I never was on Reddit), so for now it's just for learning. But there's a second goal. In the #IDPro community we use Slack for q and a. But only members will benefit, of course, and we suffer from slack restrictions... Why not leverage the knowledge on the fediverse.
Feel free to create an account at qanda.iamforum.space. I will have to approve, perhaps that gives me some control. Since Lemmy is on the fediverse, one day we should be able to access the instance with an account from another service. We will have to be patiënt.
