Half way through completion, project B was pushed aside for emergency project C, which was neither planned, nor spec-ed out, nor sanity checked, and has an impossibly close go-live date.

Then I get asked "why aren't projects ever completed in the estimated timeframes?"

Σήμερα ένας γνωστός, που έφαγε κέρατο πολύ άσχημο, με ενημέρωσε ότι σκέφτεται να το δουλέψει να το ξεπεράσει για να μη θυσιάσει δεκαπέντε χρόνια γάμου. Του απάντησα ότι αυτό το έχει ήδη κάνει, το θέμα είναι τι κάνει από εδώ και πέρα για όσα χρόνια η κόρη του επιλέξει να τον έχει στη ζωή της. Σκάλωσε. Θέλει να πάμε για καφέ... Δε θέλω να πάω για καφέ. Ίσως για τσίπουρα αλλά θα προτιμούσα κάτι πιο κοινωνικό φάση λέσχη ανάγνωσης.
