One of my favorite things to do is take a current teenager trend and then dadify it. Whether it's a new term or new clothing. My latest hijack was the purchase of a Ditch hoodie which apparently is an item of gold at the moment. I'm pretty sure that I ruined its value to my son when I got mine first. 🤪

@Alexander found an old PC hard drive from circa 2021. Booted it up on my old trusty laptop and found a bunch of his of video gaming clips from his early days. He's excited to get them migrated to his new PC. I love being this kind of dad that knows how to get this sort of thing.

I used to wear an earring a long time ago. Actually, it was a small plug, nothing huge. My daughter was curious if the hole was still open, so she brought me a stud and it slid right in.  Then, we decided to leave it in to see my wife's reaction once she got home. Oh it was priceless! My daughter ended up almost drowning in her sip of water. I got that piercing back in 1999. I stopped wearing in 2006. So, it's been a while.
My wife said she'd hate it if I started wearing a plug again.... should I do it anyway?

I'm always quoting old 90s stuff to my kids like Vanilla Ice's "Peace.... I'm the Middle East" at some awards show or Adam Sandler's "Have good mosh pitting" from The Goat on one of his old cds.
The best thing is.... my kids have NO IDEA what I'm saying.
