He hit a hard grounder to SS, which is cleanly fielded and thrown to first.

It was an out, but it was a bang-bang play out.

With any other player, the batter would be at most 2/3 way down the line.

Absolutely thrilled at how Hyeseong Kim performed tonight in his first big league start. 2-4 (his first two career basehits in the bigs), 1 SB, 1 RBI. Solid on defense too, including one potential highlight reel play that Freeman unfortunately dropped.

Reportedly Mookie Betts will have an off day tomorrow, and Kim will start at SS. Here's hoping Kim can continue his hot start!

Dodgers lost the game, but I'm pleased that our Korean homeboy Hyeseong Kim was able to show off his baserunning ability as a pinch-runner in the top 9th. It would've been awesome if it could've led to a tying run, but oh well.

With Michael Conforto struggling mightily at the plate (.144 avg, .538 OPS), perhaps Roberts can experiment with CT3 at LF and Kim at 2B, as he did tonight at bottom 9th.
