The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has announced that work on the paved road from the center of Badakhshan, Faizabad, to China's zero point is progressing rapidly.

The road, which is more than 121 kilometers long, is being constructed in two phases at a cost of 365 million Afghanis.

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has stated that the first phase of the road construction from Bazhai Gumbad in Wakhan to the border of China, which is more than 50 kilometers long, has reached China's zero point. The second phase of the construction, from Burugil to Bazhai Gumbad, which is 71.13 kilometers long, is 74% complete geographically, and the remaining work is progressing rapidly.
