First chilli update in a long while!

The plants were in the loving care of @janinahimmen during our vacation, and I only got around to fetching them yesterday.

The Reapers still haven't flowered, so our #Hotsauce2024 might be milder this time. All of the others are showing a mix of flowers and fruits. Could have been more, the very rainy start of the season definitely didn't help here, but if push comes to shove we'll just add some bought peppers again if the harvest is not enough.

Chilli update! The peppers that are going to provide us with the main ingredients for our #HotSauce2024 got repotted for the first time yesterday and will now hopefully start to really shoot upwards.

We still need some more coasters, they should arrive soon... in the meantime, we improvised ^^

Nach einer Woche ist schon ganz schön was los. Auch wenn ich etwas zu spät bin, sollte es doch dieses Jahr wieder für eine kleine Ernte ausreichen ;-)
After one week there is already quite a lot going on. Even if I'm a little late, it should be enough for a small harvest this year ;-)

Last Sunday we planted the chillis for #Project #HotSauce2024, and a tiny Tabasco just won the race for the first grown green this year. It's closely followed by a Jalapeño and a Reaper, which I expect to see properly tomorrow or on Monday.

We have gone with 36 planted seeds this year, six each of Tabasco, Habanero, Jalapeño, Cayenne, Lemon Drop and Carolina Reaper.
