Surprisingly, it’s a good JDrama adaptation. Sure it took a lot of the comedic moments out from the original, but they managed to cover all 4 volumes of the manga, even Yuu’s “bad alien” arc as she tries to figure out who she is was interesting, although I haven’t read the 4th volume yet.
Overall, the ending is better with this one, compared to the original ending in the anime, although I did enjoy that too..
I will probably finish the Hoshikuzu Telepath JDrama later today. The interesting thing is that the JDrama version adapts Yuu’s “Bad Alien” arc, which the anime left out. In a way, the JDrama covered more of the story.

Well, this space ship from Konohoshi Umika’s dream from Hoshikuzu Telepath.
At last, the model rocket tornament prelimnaries episode. Surprisingly, the tornament and the aftermath from Umika after losing is pretty much the same. They of course didn’t get to the last part where Umika tries to find Yuu.
This episode probably had the least amount of stuff cut out from it.

While I share my impressions for the 5th episode of the Hoshikuzu Telepath JDrama, well it covered the 7th and 8th episodes of the anime. Nice to see the party scene and Haruno and Matataki making that cake. Of course we didn't get to see that cake.
The only difference is that they are testing the parachute test in the rain, although in the Anime, it wasn't raining. That is probably the only notable difference. Besides only focusing on the important scenes, it's still haven’t deviated much from the anime/manga.

As expected, in this episode, Matataki actually launches a model rocket using black powdered base engines. The thing you might not know is that a license it required to actually launch these type of model rockets in Japan.Makes you wonder if the actresses gone through the trouble to get a license.
Back in my day, when I made model rockets in summer day camp, I didn't need a license, but of course the adults launched them of course.
