Horton Bay General Store

The Horton Bay General Store is located in Northern Michigan and is located on the Boyne City/Charlevoix Road in the village of Horton Bay. The village is so small that most people might not even know that they are in a village as the population of Horton Bay is a big 38 living souls.
Ernest Hemmingway spent a good portion of his youth in Horton Bay and he wrote three books about it.

The Horton Bay General Store is located in Northern Michigan in the village of Horton Bay. Population, 38!
The General Store however is a Historical Landmark and is known as a place that Ernest Hemmingway spent time in his youth.
He was married at the now demolished Methodist Church that was next to the General Store.
