And there it is done.

I know it’s no big deal to a lot of people, but I’m actually pretty pleased with myself - especially as I got it first try and less than 3% of player have done it.

I really enjoy playing video games but i suck at it, hard. This is the first time I’ve ever completed a game on the hardest difficulty in 30-odd year of gaming.

And lo I did, indeed do a silly thing (tried my usual practice of tackling Ansur at level 10 because I’m passing through Wyrms Rock anyway so why not grab the loot as well).

Managed to avoid it ending my #HonourMode run - just - by deploying the martial art of running away.

The annoying thing is that I had him down to about 100HP, i was sorely tempted to try to win it. But I’m sure that would’ve ended the run - 2 of my party were dead and another was down.

Made it into Act 3 on my #BG3 #HonourMode run.

I’m still salty about the game sniping the Ironhand gnomes behind my back. Actually forgot & went to the back entrance of Angleiron’s basement then realised why it was sealed and got all salty again. No flashblinders for me I guess.

*sigh* See *this* is why I’ve never been keen to try #HonourMode in #BG3
I cleared the whole Moonrise Prison and docks of guards, gave Wulbren his hammer, told him to break everyone out. When I got to the boat out back there was no sign of any of the prisoners, or the boat & the quest log is saying I didn’t save anyone and Wulbren is dead.

And there’s nothing I can do about it because it’s Honour Mode so I can’t reload an earlier save. Irritating

Had my first close call in my #HonourMode run. Having hit level 5 and cleared the first area without any serious problems, I got complacent in the Underdark.

I didn’t pay attention to picking up all the necessary info in the Arcane Tower, so accidentally triggered the fight on the rooftop, and Bernard shocked me out of my complacency (pun int-END-ED).

Lesson learned, time to lock it in for the Grymforge

Thursday evenings are usually #StardewValley nights with LARP folks, but the usual busy times of the holidays seems to have already started.
Instead a different group of us tried #HonourMode in #BaldursGate3. I was wondering what big difference there would be then saw every enemy shot gun to kill a downed character. I see heh

Wie läuft es denn bei euch im Ehrenmodus?
Nachdem wir im Couch Coop 2mal in Akt 1 gescheitert sind (1 mal die Vettel und 1 mal die Phasen spinnen matriarchin) hatten wir im dritten Anlauf bislang keinerlei Probleme und sind ungefährdet in Akt 3 angekommen.
Unser Team:
Die Liebste spielt einen Duergar Krieger und hat gloomstalker Assassin astarion dabei, ich spiele einen bardadin und habe schattenherz dabei
