Ich sag' dir auch, warum: der Davidsstern ist seit Jahrtausenden das Symbol von Menschen jüdischen Glaubens und/oder jüdischer Zugehörigkeit. Er wird es auch sein, solange es Jüdinnen und Juden gibt. Dieses Symbol mit dem Hakenkreuz gleichzusetzen, heißt alle Jüdinnen und Juden als Nazis zu bezeichnen.

When I watched the TV emissions last night about #Auschwitz and heard the testimonies of #Jews, how are they not ashamed by the #genocide being conducted by #Israel. Why are they not doing anything.
People most often make Nazi Inversion in reference to Israel. They are taking Jewish responsibility and saying that Jews everywhere are responsible for the actions of a few. They are saying that all Jews, no matter where they live, no matter what languages they speak, what citizenships they hold, or even when in time they exist, are responsible for the actions of other Jews. That is even if they are the victims, or the children of victims, or entirely unrelated, they are all responsible.
We know this because this analogy/trope is used most often on Holocaust Memorials, or outside Jewish hospitals and schools. It is a method of both torture for Jews, but also as a way to minimize the Holocaust, a form of Holocaust Denial.
Holocaust Inversion is illegal in some places, notably Germany, and it has no place in any online spaces that care about civil discourse or anti-hate.
When someone says "The Jews are the Nazis", they are deliberately invoking this pain, bringing it back from where it had layed to cause psychological harm onto the living Jews. It is a means of torture and terrorism, displaying the symbols that were to murder us while claiming we are them. It is both a form of torture and a form of Holocaust denial. It is a way to dismiss the Holocaust to those who are not Jewish, redefining it to something far lesser than it was, while at the same time stating that the victims were the perpetrators. It dishonors, even desecrates the dead.
Let's talk about Holocaust Inversion.
The Holocaust is not just "a bad thing that happened". People know the 6 million number, but that doesn't paint the full picture. It is an event that killed half of the world's Jews. This is important to remember: Half, 1/2 of the world's Jews were murdered. And since Jews did not live exclusively in Europe, it killed about 2/3rds of Jews. It didn't just hurt the population, or a portion of the population. It wasn't just death; it wasn't like the Jews died suddenly. They were not all just killed in gas chambers. Many were put to work as slave labor and died in the foulest of conditions, or were experimented on, all throughout Western Europe.
Смерть ОкупантамThere are many terrible human tragedy around the world. The Assad regime killed more Arabs, hundreds of thousands, than Israeli has ever been accused of, and yet it's it "funny" how the example that always comes up is the event where half the entire Jewish population was murdered.
Or they could talk about the many events in Africa, including the Rwandan. But no....
Isn't it "funny" how quick gentiles are to use the blood spilled by my family- and I do mean MY family- to prop up their argument or agenda. How they can't think of ANY other event, or ANY other thing to bring up than Holocaust Inversion.
If you really don't know why this is antisemitic, this is your wakeup call.
If you continue, then you're doing it knowingly.
