Today's hike was another beautiful one. Unfortunately I had to turn around midway because it was too windy; I couldn't stand still because the gusts were too much. Sometimes I wonder if I wasn't alone I'd have completed many more routes. This "new-to-me" trail is now in my "someday trail" list.

I might have just found my favorite trail in Reno. Only 3 miles, and pretty mellow, but oh the quietude... only the soft babble of the small creek. I really needed it.
