Den heutigen Tag widme ich ausnahmsweise mal wieder vollständig der Ägyptologie.

Ich trage eine ganze Reihe von Objekten mit neuhieratischen Inschriften zusammen, um einerseits einen technischen Apparat zusammen zu stellen (Größe, Gewicht, Material, Datierung, Provenienz), und andererseits auch die Geschichten der jeweiligen Sammlungen zu eruieren.

Aktuell habe ich 27 Städte/Sammlungen in meiner Liste. Das wird ein bisschen dauern, bis ich alle Objekte beisammen habe.

This toot about the #PhoenecianAlphabet us very interesting.

I remembered reading about a simplified script for accounting purposes in #AncientEgypt, #Hieratic script, though.

Hieratic was supposedly developed at about the same time as the #hieroglyphs*, i.e. at least 3,400 BCE, and would therefore be much older than #Canaanite #scripture, i.e. the #PhoenicianAlphabet.

What am I missing?
