The selection is pretty random because *a lot* of people I follow are not available (yet?) and there's a hard limit on 25 accounts.
ROllerozxaHow much have people begun to use the new Mastodon collections feature so far? What is the hashtag or similar place to see collections that people have made - I've found #collections and #mastodoncollections hashtags so far but it feels... a bit quiet.
It's a bit unfortunate there seems to be no other way of discover public collections. Would be nice to have a way to see ones made by people on my local instance at least, even if there is no federated discovery.

Alright, I went through the Collections hashtag to see if other people were struggling with the feature. Turns out if you just search up the accounts nilly-willy, by looking up only their name, it doesn't work and prevents you from adding them to the collection.
But if you write out the full account tag, it works.
This seems to be a Collections bug.
I don't get it. I can't add anyone to Collections.
Even tried it with @boardraiders, which is on v4.6.2 and has discovery turned on. Something seems off?
Peter SchuhOoooooh wisskomm.social is on v4.6.0 and I could start playing with collections, how very very tempting ... but aside from the fact that I have absolutely no time for this, I also need to remember that any accounts living on yet-to-be-updated servers cannot be added, so being patient for a little while longer is the right thing to do anyway.
